The discovery of screwworms in a cow in southern Mexico at a border inspection facility at the Guatemalan border is impacting cattle trade. The discovery of that pest by Mexican animal health authorities led to the Nov 22 closure of the U.S./Mexico border to all cattle imports from Mexico.
Joining us with an update on the situation is Dr. Ron Gill, professor and Extension livestock specialist at Texas A&M University.
